An extraordinary series of organic saladiers (salad bowls). A perfect example of wabi-sabi aesthetics with its overlays of glazes, its rustic, imperfect and minimalist appearance. In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
Each saladier is unique. The images give a good idea of the one you’ll receive. The making of these salad bowls makes them all unique. This is why color gradients and format can vary from one to another. See it as the pledge of a work done by hand.

“Beauty, creativity, art, making our life beautiful living with everyday object that were designed with care and grace and taking in beauty is incredibly central part of what it meant to be human” Mie Kim, the artist behind of Mie Ceramics comments. Her work is modern and minimalistic in design and she uses gentle lines and subtle curve rather than heavy detail. She likes to make objects that create magical emptiness in the space.
The use of oven and microwave is not recommended and hand washing is recommended to lengthen the dinnerware lifespan.
