Designed by hand from white porcelain plates with the technique of shaping, and finished with a gloss varnish, each plate breathes calm and energy. The ceramicist Rachel Grenon lives in the Eastern Townships (Quebec, Canada) since 2003, after living in Montreal, Vancouver and Whistler. Her works have been seen in craft and design fairs across Canada and in the United States, notably at WantedDesign, New York in 2014. Her style is characterized by large dimension, coloured serving bowls and the organic shaped she gives them. She uses glazing techniques in an artistic and unique matter. She’s inspired by the sentence: “It’s for the unknown thing than the eye is opened".
All glazes are original, non-toxic and tested (without barium). Resistant to thermal shock. Washable in the dishwasher.
